Your first visit to Savage Serenity starts with a consultation. Angela will look at your face at rest and while you make expressions. She will ask what bothers you and what your goals are. No pressure, no upselling.

If you decide to go ahead with treatment that same day, the actual injection part takes about 10 to 15 minutes. Angela uses a very fine needle. Most people say it feels like a small pinch, nothing worse than plucking a hair.

How Long Does Botox Last

The standard answer is 3 to 4 months. And for most patients, that’s accurate. But some people metabolize it faster.

If you work out a lot, have high muscle mass, or just have a fast metabolism, your Botox might start wearing off sooner than the 2-month mark. That’s not unusual,l and it doesn’t mean anything went wrong.

Aftercare For Botox

Botox aftercare is pretty simple, but there are a few things you should skip for the first day:

No lying flat for 4 hours. This keeps the product from moving to muscles you don’t want it in. So plan your appointment earlier in the day if you can.

No hard workouts for 24 hours. Heavy exercise pushes more blood flow to your face, which can wash the product away from the target area before it settles.

No hats, headbands, or tight goggles. Anything that puts pressure on the injection sites could cause the Botox to shift.

Skip the alcohol for 24 hours if you can. It thins your blood and can worsen bruising.

Can I get Botox and filler at the same appointment?

Yes. Many patients combine Botox for their forehead and crow’s feet with lip filler or cheek filler in the same visit. Angela will talk through timing and placement so everything works together.

What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?

Both are botulinum toxin type A. They do the same thing. The main difference is how they spread and how they’re dosed. Dysport uses more units per area but costs less per unit, so the total price usually ends up similar. Angela will recommend whichever one makes more sense for your situation.
